Seeking out Nate Leblanc is one of the best moves I made. Within the discussion I outline my reasoning for him being at the top of my list. The mission: help me dig through all the great music this year and figure out how to identify the yearly FME MVP. Why was Nate who I needed? He never once whispered “it depends” or “I could see it either way” as he states in the interview he’s learned how to plant his flag and live by his decisions. By the end he gave definitive recommendations for who MVP runner up and honorable mention should be. He allowed me to unload my wild eyed theories and guided me closer to the finish line than I ever imagined we’d get.
